Setting objectives of VUCP
After a long time series of online discussions on 3 September 2022a team of 5 persons sat together at a workshop to prepare a brief document on the UN Convention on the Poor, first discussions took place to analyze and review the previous discussions on the proposed concept of the UN Convention on the poor. The team documented the preamble of the UN Convention on the poor and set 5 objectives for a proposed platform to work on the issue. On the day the team members agreed to create an organization to work on achieving a declaration for a UN Convention on the poor. The organization's name was proposed by the team “Voice for UN Convention on the Poor” which is short for VUCP. The team members also agreed to form a management body with 7 to 13 members for VUCP.
