A research team will work in VUCP to conduct of promote research work to know the in depth about poverty. VUCP will be regularly updated on contemporary scholarly publications from various countries and institutions.
People’s engagements
People are the major strength to deliver the voice for claiming UN Convention on the poor. VUCP hopes peoples’ voices will rise from every country when the demand will understand by them.
Campaign
VUCP will build a worldwide mass campaign for the claiming UN Convention on the Poor with allies, and like-minded people from various platforms.
Policy Advocacy
Regular policy advocacy would keep continuing for preparing the claiming UN Convention on the poor and to ensure the ratification and implementation of the Convention by the member states.
Stand besides people in need
Despite of the much advancement and development, ratio of poverty is raising all the time and more and more people are failing under the poverty line specially in the southern hemisphere. Voice for Convention on the Poor (VUCP) a collective voice from global south call for UN to formulate A Convention on the Poor and make its ratification mandatory for every member state and every member state must be given a time frame to take appropriate steps to decrease and eradicate poverty.
Finally, we are talking about the rights of the poor people to end poverty. We are very happy to know that an urgent and effective Human Rights convention on the Poor is claiming for declaration and implementation by the United Nations. We are expressing our agreement on this claim. We are united to achieve the UN Convention on the Poor.
